  • Trip introduction

Embark on an action-packed adventure to the Annapurna Base Camp and spend 9 days in the alpine wilderness of the Annapurna mountain ranges. The highlight of the trek is the stunning views of Himalayan giants like Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, Hiunchuli and Annapurna South. Apart from visiting the base camp for Annapurna, you'll also take a guided heritage tour of Kathmandu city, scale the 10,500 feet tall Poon Hill, take a dip in the hot springs of Jhinu Danda and visit the base camp of the massive Machhapuchhare.

Your days will be spent climbing over mountainous trails in the dense pine forests of the Annapurna Conservation Area. As the sun begins to set, your nights will be spent in rustic tea-houses at charming hillside villages, with views of snow-capped peaks at your doorstep.

NOTE: All prices in this package are subject to fluctuations based on international currency exchange rates at the time of booking.

    Destination

The Annapurna Massif, a collection of high peaks in the Annapurna mountain ranges, is located inside the namesake Annapurna Conservation Area, north of Pokhara. Located at an altitude of 13,500 feet, the base camp for mountaineers in the Annapurna Massif is your destination for the trek. As you move to higher altitudes, closer to the base camp, the landscape undergoes a noticeable change as the overgrowth of greenery gives way to barren mountains, glacier moraine and an ocean of boulders and rocks.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is a tea-house trek. Instead of camping in tents, you'll spend the night in family-run, local tea-houses that offer basic amenities for stay and food.
