  • Trip introduction

Trek along the steep slopes and thick forests of Annapurna Conservation Area on this 11-day trek to the Annapurna Base Camp. In the shadows of the 26,000 feet tall Annapurna mountain, you'll trek across breathtaking views of towering Himalayan mountains. Along the way, you'll stop by the base camp of Machhapucchre mountain, pass by picturesque villages and relax in the soothing hot water springs at Jhinu Danda. Throughout the adventure, you'll be accompanied by the spectacular panorama of snowy Himalayan peaks of Annapurna, Himachuli, Machhapucchre and Singu Chuli, among others.

    Destination

The Annapurna base camp trek is one of the most popular treks in the world. The riveting Annapurna massif is the world’s tenth highest peak. Located inside the dense Annapurna Conservation Area, the base camp is accessible through a moderately challenging trail, ascending steep mountain paths.

The Trail passes through woods of rhododendron, bamboo, oak and pine, with barren and snow-layered landscapes dominating the view as you climb higher altitudes. The villages along the route are settled by the ethnic Gurung and Pun natives, providing an insight into the local lifestyle and culture.

The Annapurna Circuit trek is another one of Nepal's classic tea-house treks, where travellers stay in basic lodges instead of needing to camp in the outdoors.

    Destination highlights

    • Complete the legendary, 13,549 ft high trek to the Annapurna base camp.
    • Stop by the base camp of the enormous Mt. Machhapucchre.
