    This Try Dive in Neil Island is the best way to get your first scuba experience. You'll learn the basics of scuba diving and how to use the gear underwater. This Try Dive can be done by non-swimmers, but it is recommended that you are comfortable in water.

    You'll start with a briefing by your instructor, and then try a shallow water session where you get accustomed to using your gear. After this, you'll set out in a boat to the dive sport, where the fun begins! You'll dive to a depth of 40 feet/12 metres, for a full 45 minutes, in the fascinating dive sites at Neil Island.

    NOTE: This Try Dive takes place in Neil Island and can only be done by those staying here.


    Located in Ritchie's Archipelago, Neil Island is about 36 kms from the coast of Port Blair. The island offers a pastoral charm with paddy fields and natural forest cover. The white sandy beaches, craggy rock formations and clear blue water makes this a paradise for Try Diving in Neil Island. But the real beauty of Neil Island lies underwater.     Your instructor will brief you before the Try Dive in Neil Island begins. Please strictly adhere to the instructions.

    Do not touch, tease, break or collect coral pieces, shells, or seaweed during scuba diving in Andamans.

    Do not swim away from your group or try to dive on your own.

    Do not consume any form of alcohol or drugs before the scuba diving in Neil Island. If the instructor believes you to be under the influence, you will not be allowed to dive.

    Cancellation policy

    If you cancel or don't show for this scuba diving in Neil Island: 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.

  • Try Dive in Neil Island

    Eat a light breakfast before you report to the dive centre at 07:30 hrs. You'll begin with a basic skills session and will learn the basic skills required for scuba diving. After this, you'll put your newly learned skills to test in a shallow dive in 6 feet/2 meters water near the shore. Once you're comfortable, you'll board the boat and head to the dive location. Dive right into the turquoise waters with an experienced instructor. You'll have about 45 minutes to explore the rich marine life underwater with swaying corals, stunning fish and sea turtles. After the dive is over, you'll return to the dive centre. Your Try Diving trip in the Andamans ends here.
