    Travel to Kolad and engage in a thrilling session of rafting on the Kundalika River. For over 2 hours, you'll navigate your raft over gurgling rapids and waves. During calmer sections of the river, you can admire the beauty of lofty mountains surrounding the river. Apart from rafting, you'll also participate in a host of adventure activities such as Zip Lining, Tarzan Swing, Burma Bridge and many more.

    This rafting trip in Kolad is perfect for travellers looking to escape into nature for an adventure-filled day. Swimmers as well as non-swimmers can participate in rafting.

    Situated in the midst of the Western Ghats, Kolad is a small village that lies on the banks of the raging Kundalika River. This village is surrounded by tropical greenery, with hills all around, and coconut trees lining the river.

    Fed by the excess water from the Bhira Dam, the Kundalika River makes its way through the imposing mountains of rural Maharashtra. The twists and turns of the river make it one of the best places for rafting in Maharashtra.

    Rules on the trip

    Children younger than 14 years of age are strictly not allowed to participate in rafting.

    Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the rafting instructor while rafting in Kolad.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited while rafting in Kolad.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made more than 7 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made 4-6 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made 2-3 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: 25% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 2 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting any transaction charges.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    Rafting in Kolad is dependent on water released from the Bhira dam. The operator will not be responsible for last minute cancellation of the rafting trip due to inadequate or unsuitable water conditions.

    Water levels of the Kundalika River are controlled by the Bhira dam. Due to this, rafting timings are fixed. Please make sure you're on time or you'll miss the rafting departure.

    Travellers will be required to bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blocks etc.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident while rafting in Kolad.

  • Go rafting in Kolad!

    Arrive at the campsite by 08:00 hrs and head out to the rafting start point. Here, you'll strap on your life jackets and paddle down the Kundalika River for a 13-km stretch of rapids. After a 2-hr rafting session, you'll travel back to the campsite where you can change into dry clothes and have lunch.

    Spend some time exploring the campsite and participate in various adventure activates like Tarzan Swing, Burma Bridge, tunnel crossing, net climbing and Zip Lining. Participate in outdoor sports like cricket, volley ball and badminton, or indoor games like chess and carrom. You can also take a dip and relax in the swimming pool at the campsite. Check-out of the campsite after evening tea and snacks by 17:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

    Arrive at the campsite by 08:00 hrs and head out to the rafting start point. Travel between the campsite and rafting start/end points is not included in the package. Make sure to bring an extra set of dry clothes to wear after rafting. Changing rooms will be available at the campsite. Today's meal package includes lunch and evening snacks. Lunch will include a non-vegetarian dish as well. You'll check-out of the campsite by 15:00 hrs.
