    This Leh motorbiking trip takes you along the legendary biking route from Manali to Leh. You'll travel from the lush valleys of Manali into the heart of one of the most starkly beautiful regions of India for 10 days of motorcycle thrills, and hopefully no spills! You'll be riding to iconic landmarks like Pangong Lake, Sarchu, and Nubra Valley, thundering through high altitude mountain passes, visiting monasteries, camping at gorgeous locations, and making memories that will last you a lifetime.

    PRICE VARIATION: This Manali-Leh motorbiking trip package is for 1 rider PLUS 1 pillion rider.

    NOTE: There is an additional refundable deposit of INR 10,000 per bike to be paid before the start of the Manali-Leh motorbiking trip.

    Destination

    Your Manali-Leh motorbiking adventure starts in the small centre of Leh, where you'll have a day to get used to the altitude. After that, you'll set off to Jispa, and onwards to Sarchu. You'll ride through the high altitude pass of Khardung La, and visit the cold desert of Nubra Valley, where you'll see sand dunes and double-humped camels. After that, you'll head to the blue-green Pangong Lake, and spend a night there, before returning to Leh. At the end of this trip, Leh will be a part of you forever.

    Rules on the trip

    During the Leh motorbiking trip, you must wear a helmet at all times. You will also be required to carry your ID at all times.

    Any damage of the bike/helmet during the Manali Leh ride will have to be paid for by the guest. Before starting the Leh motorbiking trip, all riders and pillion riders have to sign an Indemnity form.

    Participants who leave the group mid-way (for medical/health or other reasons) will have to pay for any additional expenses and for transporting the bike back to Leh.

    Compensation for any damage/accident done by you during the Leh motorbiking trip to others' property/person would be directly payable by you.

    All guests will be responsible for safety and security of their own luggage.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made 45 days or more before the departure of the Leh motorbiking trip: 75% of the trip fees will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.

    For cancellations made 30-44 days before the departure of the Leh motorbiking trip: 50% of the trip fees will be refunded, minus any transaction charges.

    For cancellations made 0-29 days before the departure of the Leh motorbiking trip: No refund.

    No refunds for late arrival or no show.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The operator reserves the right to change the dates of departure of the Leh motorbiking trip if it is deemed unsafe.

    The operator will not be held responsible for any change in itinerary of the Manali Leh motorbiking ride due to reasons beyond control, like change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc.

    The operator or any of its service providers does not cover for any kind of insurance and will not be liable in any case for any mishap/loss etc.

    The operator has the right to cancel the group if a minimum of 4 bookings is not confirmed.

    Any meals/services not availed of by the traveller are not refundable.

  • Day 1 of Manali-Leh biking: Delhi to Manali

    Today you'll have to report to Majnu ka Tila in Delhi, by 17:00 hrs. You'll meet the rest of your team here, and will board the Volvo bus to Manali. It's going to be a long overnight journey, so settle in, get comfy, and get some sleep. No meals are included today, but there'll be a dinner stop where you can choose and pay for your own meal. Overnight in bus.

    Day 2 of Manali-Leh biking: Arrival in Manali

    Today you'll arrive in Manali and will check in to your campsite. You can choose to spend the day relaxing at the campsite or go for nature walks. The day is free for you to meet the other members of your biker gang, and get used to the altitude. If you need to buy any last minute essentials, today is a good day. Overnight in campsite on twin or triple sharing basis.

    Day 3 of Manali-Leh biking: Kullu to Jispa

    After a hearty breakfast, you'll begin your first day of the Manali-Leh motorcycling ride. You'll ride on the Manali-Leh highway, towards Jispa. The first check point for the day is Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of 13,047 feet. At Jispa, you will stay in a hotel on triple sharing basis.

    Day 4 of Manali-Leh biking: Jispa to Sarchu

    After a hearty breakfast, you'll hit the road again. Today you'll go thorugh Baralacha La, a pass located at an incredible 16,000 feet, and into Sarchu. Participants sleep overnight in camps with attached washrooms on triple sharing basis

    Day 5 of Manali-Leh biking: Sarchu to Leh

    You'll start your ride towards Leh, going through Tanglang La (17,480 ft) which is the third highest motorable pass in the world. Later in the afternoon, you will cross the Indus valley and arrive at Leh. Overnight stay in hotel with attached washrooms.

    Day 6 of Manali-Leh biking: Rest day in Leh

    Today is meant to be a rest day to make sure you're fully acclimatised before the Ladakh section of your Manali-Leh biking trip begins. You should take it easy today: take a nap, relax in your room, or go for a short walk around Leh city. Make sure to sip water and eat regular meals, even if you're not hungry. Overnight in the hotel in Leh.

    Day 7 of Manali-Leh biking: Leh to Nubra

    Today you'll be seeing some truly spectacular scenery as you ride into the Nubra Valley. You'll ride through Khardung La, the highest motorable road in the world, and descend from here into the rolling sand dunes and scree slopes of Nubra. With no civilizaton for miles around, it feels like you're the only ones in the world. Overnight stay in a desert campsite in tents with attached washrooms.

    Day 8 of Manali-Leh biking: Nubra to Pangong Lake

    Today you'll set off on an adventurous ride on a road that isn't a road, and on a path that doesn't exist on Google Maps (at least so far!). You'll head to Pangong Lake via Wari Pass, navigating your bike over the rocky route parallel to the winding Shyok river. Your campsite is beside the gorgeous Pangong Lake, in Swiss tents with attached washrooms. You'll get to spend the evening at Pangong, watching the lake changing colours as the sun sets. Overnight in tents.

    Day 9 of Manali-Leh biking: Pangong to Leh

    It's time to head back towards Leh. You'll ride from Pangong to Leh, through Chang Pass, stopping en route to see Choglamsar and Shanti Stupa. It's your last day of riding for this Leh motorbiking trip. Back at Leh, you'll return your bikes, and check into your hotel for the night. Overnight in a hotel on triple sharing basis.

    Day 10 of Manali-Leh biking: Checkout from Leh

    You'll wake up late and enjoy a peaceful morning today. After breakfast, it's time to check out. Your Manali-Leh motorbiking trip ends here.

  • Day 1 of Manali-Leh biking: Delhi to Manali

    Overnight in bus from Delhi to Manali.

    You'll be spending the night on the bus tonight. Make sure you carry snacks and drinking water for the road. No meals are included today, but the bus stops at a dhaba/restaurant where you can pay for your own dinner.

    Day 2 of Manali-Leh biking: Arrival in Manali

    Overnight in camp in Manali.

    You'll check into a campsite in Manali today, and will be allocated twin or triple sharing tents with attached washrooms. There is no running hot water in your tent, but a bucket of hot water can be arranged on request. You can spend the day enjoying the green environs of the campsite. Today's package includes breakfast and dinner.

    Day 3 of Manali-Leh biking: Kullu to Jispa

    Overnight in Jispa.

    Your first day of riding on the Manali-Leh biking trip takes you to Jispa for the night. You'll check into a hotel, in triple sharing rooms, in Jispa. Today's package includes breakfast and dinner.

    Day 4 of Manali-Leh biking: Jispa to Sarchu

    Overnight in Sarchu.

    Today you ride into Sarchu, where you'll check in to a desert campsite for the night. You'll be staying in deluxe tents with attached washrooms, on triple sharing basis. This is when you start to feel even more connected to the landscape, when you can hear all its sounds as you fall asleep. Today's package includes breakfast and dinner.

    Day 5 of Manali-Leh biking: Sarchu to Leh

    Overnight in Leh.

    You'll ride to Leh today, and will check in to a hotel in the charming city of Leh. The rooms are on triple sharing basis, with attached washrooms. Today's package includes breakfast and dinner.

    Day 6 of Manali-Leh biking: Rest day in Leh

    Overnight in Leh.

    It's a rest day today, so you can go out exploring the city. Make sure you don't exert yourself. Today's package includes breakfast and dinner.

    Day 7 of Manali-Leh biking: Leh to Nubra

    Overnight in Nubra Valley

    Today you ride into Nubra, where you'll stay in a gorgeous campsite or in a hotel. Today's package includes breakfast and dinner.

    Day 8 of Manali-Leh biking: Nubra to Pangong Lake

    You'll be riding to Pangong Lake today, where your campsite is set up on the banks of the blue lake. You'll be staying in deluxe tents with attached washrooms, with breakfast and dinner included.

    Overnight in Leh
