    The Fewa and Begnas lakes mountain biking trip is a gorgeous experience that takes you through the hidden treasures of Nepal. In half a day, you'll ride along some of Pokhara’s gorgeous landscapes and pass through many beautiful valleys; cycle through the Dobilla and Rupa villages and catch sight of paddy fields, vast meadows and more.

    As your journey progresses, you’ll even pass through the gorgeous Seti River gorge and the Leknath Valley before riding down towards the Fewa and Begnas lakes. Right from the start to end, you’ll witness the icy mountain tops of many famous mountain ranges – from the Himalayas to the Annapurna Massif, to even the Dhaulagiri and the Fishtail.

    Offering you a combination of thrill and scenic beauty, this trip ideal for adventure enthusiasts who want to truly witness Nepal’s rustic beauty in a day.

    The Fewa and Begnas lakes are two beautiful freshwater lakes found in Pokhara Valley of Nepal. The Fewa lake being the second largest lake of Nepal and consists of a rich ecosystem surrounding it. Known for its vast natural beauty – including a thick forest cover, this lake is also known to be the most visited lake by travelers. The Begnas Lake on the other hand is known to be the third largest lake and is surrounded by lush swampy and paddy fields.

    For this cycling trip you’ll travel through many dirt roads and mountain trails to reach these lakes. Along your journey you’ll encompass many small villages, forested regions and witness a backdrop of dazzling mountain ranges. Apart from this you’ll also encounter many rivers, gorgeous, waterfalls, crisscrossing streams and much more.

    Consumption of alcohol or any kind of intoxication is not permitted during the Fewa and Begnas lakes mountain biking trip.

    No harm or damage should be inflicted on natural habitats during the Fewa and Begnas lakes mountain biking trip.

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the guide at all times during the Fewa and Begnas lakes mountain biking trip.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellation made 21 days before depature: Full refund.

    For cancellation made within 21 days of the departure: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    In case the operator cancels the Fewa and Begnas lakes mountain biking trip due to unforseen circumstances, you will be provided with a refund.

    Above and beyond all cancellation fees/charges by the operator and The Great Next, you will be charged international payment transfer fees. Please check with us what these charges will be for this trip.

  • Cycling around the lakes of Pokhara

    Arrive at the bike centre in Pokhara today morning. After undergoing a thorough briefing, you'll collect your bikes and head out to the gorgeous Pokhara Valley to embark on a fun cycling adventure. Over 3 to 4 hrs you'll cycle through pristine landscapes and breathtaking views!

    Starting from the Seti River gorge you'll move onto the Dobilla Village, then the Lekhnath Valley followed by cycling through the towns of Rupa and Begnas. Along the way you'll also cycle along the beautiful Fewa and Begnas lakes.

    During this journey you'll encounter dirt roads, villages, river beds and paddy fields. Throughout your route, you'll catch breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, the Annapurna mountains, Manaslu and many other Himalayan Ranges.

    At the end of your journey, you'll return back to the bike centre in Pokhara. Your trip ends here.
