  • PADI Open Water Diver - Day 1

Eat a good breakfast, and report to the Barefoot Dive Centre on Beach 3, Havelock by 07:00 hrs. After filling in the required paperwork, you'll begin with your training. Today is mostly theory training, covering equipment, techniques, and general information. You'll also practise basic skills in shallow/confined water. After it's over, you'll have the rest of your day to do as you please.

PADI Open Water Diver - Day 2

Today you'll follow the same procedure: breakfast, report by 07:00 hrs, and head out for a fun day on the water. You'll practise some slightly more advanced skills, as well as trouble-shooting techniques. When it's over, you'll have the rest of the day to do as you please.

PADI Open Water Diver - Day 3

It's diving day today! By now, you'll be ready for your open water dives, which is the most exciting part of the journey. You'll be taken out to some of the prettiest dive spots in the world, and will get to see spectacular underwater marine life. You'll also practise some of the techniques you've been learning. At the end, you'll return to shore and have the rest of the day to yourself.

PADI Open Water Diver - Day 4

Today, you'll be doing your deepest dive so far. Everything you've learned so far will help you dive to an impressive 18 metres depth. There are rare and wonderful creatures here, and you'll want to stay down for longer. But 45 minutes is all you've got, so make the most of it. When the diving is over, you'll fill in your log-book and will receive your OWD card. Congratulations!
