This is a paragraph with little content.

This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

The Parang La trek is a difficult 12-day trip best suited for experienced trekkers. It is one of the most off-beat and unconventional trekking destinations in the country yet it is a popular spot for trekking enthusiasts. On this trek, you will climb over the sprawling snow of the Parang La Glacier, hike along the shimmering Tso Moriri Lake which is one of the most unique, beautiful lakes in the world, and follow the various Himalayan rivers like Rong Nala, Datang Nala and Pare River. You will also cross the icy cold Parechu River with bare feet.

Note: A travel/adventure insurance is mandatory for the trek which can be arranged for INR 1097.

    Destination

Parang La is an ancient traditional trade route which connects Spiti Valley, Tibet and Changthang in Ladakh. It is located at an elevation of 18,373 feet above sea level. It stands as one of the most unexplored and remote locations in the Indian part of the Himalayas, which makes this trek quite unique. It has quite a dynamic trail which takes you through varying landscapes. You begin in the lush green meadows and across the tree line, from the deep gorges and desert environment of Spiti Valley to the vast landscape of Ladakh. The trek takes you to remote locations covered in snow, to vast plains which were once sea beds and home some unique fossils to vast glaciers, and some more.
