  • Trip introduction

An experience unto itself, the Trishuli River rafting trip is an adrenaline-pumping experience that takes you to deep into the mountain crevices of the Himalayas to enjoy a day of white water river rafting.

Starting with a beautiful drive from Pokhara, this trip entails passing through scenic landscapes till you reach the start point of the rafting course. Once you begin your rafting session, it will be 2.5 hrs of non-stop exhilaration as you battle rapids of grades III and III+ for 15 kms. Besides feeling the pride of battling rapids, you’ll also catch spectacular views of the surrounding regions. From snowy ice caps of the Himalayan mountains to the thick jungles lined on either side of the river – at each stage you’ll be met with delightful scenes.

At the end of your rafting session, you’ll feast on a hot lunch before embarking on an equally scenic drive back to Pokhara or Kathmandu.

    Destination

Located in central Nepal, the Trishuli River is known as one of the major tributaries of the Narayani River basin in central Nepal. Originally it enters Nepal through Gyirong Town as a stream from Tibet.

However, as it gains volume along the way from the melting snow of the Mount Ganesh and Langtang, it has come to become a popular destination of white water rafting. Moreover, as it also houses impressive gorges and rapids combined with easy accessibility, this river is preferred over other rivers of Nepal by rafting enthusiasts.

    Destination highlights

    • Spend a whole day in nature through the Trishuli River rafting trip.
    • Feel the pride of battling rapids of grades III and III+
    • Spot many famous Himalayan mountains along the way.
